Music and stories have an important role in the education of children.

They introduce them to culture, instruments, rhythms, rhymes and help build overall language skills. To ensure a well-rounded education, children should be exposed to different types of music and stories.

Engaging activities like fingerplays, dancing, rhythm sticks, and puppets can bring them closer to the music and stories.

Simple questions can also be asked to engage children further with music and stories such as: "What images do you see on the page?" "What do you think will happen next?"

"What instruments did you hear?" "How did that song make you feel?"
