Music and stories have an important role in the education of children.
They introduce them to culture, instruments, rhythms, rhymes and help build overall language skills. To ensure a well-rounded education, children should be exposed to different types of music and stories.
Simple things can help children engage while they read and listen to music such as: pointing out images on a page, describing colors you see, asking children what they notice, dancing along to a tune, clapping hands, playing with finger puppets and more!
