We reccommend doing this activity on a splat mat or another area that can get messy! **Hint: Grab a damp washcloth and have it close by for when you are finished with this project!

Print off the image of the parrot.

Show your little one some images of parrots and point out how colorful they are! Even if your child is not yet speaking, this is a great way to engage with them!

Ask them to paint the parrot with all of the colors!
6 months+ : use finger paints - squirt or glop some onto the parrot and let them move it all around. Here are some taste-safe ones.
10 months+ : let your little ones push their own fingers into the paint and move it over the parrot.
14 months + : let your little one try and use a feather to paint the parrot!
