Materials Needed

Let's Create!

  • To begin - press your child's thumb down in one color ink (we recommend red). This will be the head of the caterpillar. Press it down in the center of the paper.​

  • Next, choose which color(s) ink you would like for the segments of the caterpillar and press your child's index (or other) finger down into that color ink. Press their finger next to the head of the caterpillar in a line, making the caterpillar as large as you would like.

  • If you would like, draw the antannae and legs using a marker.
