Your little one will love to help you with this fun clean up the "trash" game!

Scrap Paper

Empty tissue box (or other small box)
Let's Play!

To begin, take scrap paper (think junk mail) and crumble it into balls.

Show your little one how you drop it into the "trash" - aka the empty box. We suggest making a show of it "Oh no there's garbage on the ground we better throw it away!"

Then:

6 months + (still laying): place the "garbage" near your child and see if they can rake it towards themselves, help them to throw it into the "trash."

9 months + (crawling): place some garbage all over your general area and encourage your little one to crawl around finding it and placing it into the "trash."

12 months + (walking): place "garbage" all over the place, some hidden and some not. Have them come back and place it into the "trash."

Once all of the trash is cleaned up - celebrate saying "Yay we cleaned the earth!"
