Difficulty Level: Medium

Time Needed: 10 minutes

Best done: Indoors

Messy level: Medium

Materials Needed

  • Finger Paints or Chalk

  • Bunny Outline

  • Child-safe scissors

  • Tape

  • Construction Paper

Let's Create!

  • To begin print off the bunny outline. **If you have a large bunny stencil you may use this instead!

  • Carefully cut it out along the black line (Do not let the paper rip). Keep as much of the white edge in-tact as possible.

  • Tape it onto the construction paper of choice

  • Depending on the age/abilities of your child:

    • 6 months and up (laying on belly): spread paint onto the bunny and let them move it around.

    • 9 monts and up (able to sit): let them dip their fingers into the paint and move it all over the bunny.

    • 12 months and up (able to stand independently): carefully stick the construction paper to the wall. Give them child-safe chalk (large enough that they cannot choke - urban infant has a good size) and let them color all over the inside of the bunny.

**This project might not be completed all at once, some children happily engage with an activity and want to keep going, others may move away from it (espeically walkers) and come back to it later on.

  • Carefully peel away the stencil and reveal the adorable bunny!

  • Write something cute at the top/bottom if making a card like:

    • (Child's name) loves you bunny much

    • Some bunny loves you

    • (Child's name) wishes you a hoppy Easter

    • Anything else you can think of!
