Let's Create!
-
To start, take a box that is large enough to hold a piece of paper and place the paper inside.
-
Next, add some blobs of paint onto various sections of the paper.
-
Depending on your child's age and their tendency to put objects in their mouth, either place the acorn in the box and cover it with plastic wrap or leave it uncovered if you're not worried about that.
-
Encourage your child to hold the box and shake it around to mix the colors!
-
For younger children, assist them in moving the box and demonstrate how shaking it causes the colors to blend.
-
For older children, let them explore moving the acorn around the box and using a paintbrush or their hands to spread the paint.
