  • White Construction paper

  • 1/4 Cup Coffee (Cooled)

  • Blow Dryer

Let's Create!

  • For this project, the first step is to make “aged paper.” To do this:

1. Ask your child to take the white sheet of paper and crumble it up and flatten it back out a few times.

2. Place the paper on the cookie sheet and spoon the coffee evenly over the paper.

3. Dab the paper to remove excess liquid.

4. Use the blow dryer to dry the page!

  • Second part: Look at the pirate’s name page to determine your “pirate name.”

**Depending on writing ability of your child(ren) write their name on the aged paper to create their pirate “name plate” or have them write it!
