Materials Needed

  • Primary Paint Colors: Red, Yellow, Blue 

  • Paintbrushes

  • Plain white paper 

Time to Experiment!

  • For this activity, your child(ren) will experiment with mixing primary colors to make new colors. It will help them learn what colors can be mixed to form new colors, an important concept!

  • Have them mix: red and yellow to make orange, blue and yellow to make green, and red and blue to make purple! Along with any other combinations they would like to try.

  • -If you have the ability to, this activity could easily be combined with the Splat paint art project!  

  • If desired-print the recording page below, if not record it in your own way!
